It's Pho Friday at Plaza Cafe!


Plaza Cafe features fresh, hot Pho every Friday. Here is a picture of my Pho lunch today.
I chose tofu for my protein so this meal is vegetarian. You could also choose shrimp, beef or chicken.
Although soups/broths tend to be fairly salty, these foods can be part of a healthy diet. Drink plenty of water and include plenty of potassium to offset your sodium intake.

Rolling Healthy Through Roger's on Revelle

Roger's Place & Market on Revelle College is a great place to hang out, shoot some pool, watch TV or grab a coffee. You can also buy healthy food and beverages at Roger's.

I got this healthy "meal of snacks" there. I had pumpkin seeds, organic carrots with ranch dip, and a black cherry yogurt. This nutritious meal was quick, tasty and vegetarian and full of fiber and calcium and...ok, you get the picture.

Beyond the Burrito at Goody's

Did you know that Goody's has fresh sandwiches and salads?

You probably know by now that Goody's burritos are awesome. The "other side" of Goody's also has some healthy and delicious meal options. Check out my incredible Grilled Vegetable sandwich from the deli side of Goody's. It's over-flowing with nutritious veggies and flavor!
